The Ring Alarm Motion Detector provides mobile notifications whenever motion is detected, doors or windows are opened, or the siren is activated (subscription required, sold separately). With adjustable motion detection settings, you can minimise false alarms triggered by pets. This device links with your Ring cameras, activating them when an alarm is triggered, all from a user-friendly dashboard. Its compact design allows for versatile placement, and it installs easily without tools. The detector operates on two AA batteries and requires the Ring Alarm Base Station for full functionality. A Ring Home subscription (sold separately) also enables features such as 24/7 camera recording, alerts for people and packages, and the ability to review past events.
