The light’s sensor has a horizontal detection range of approximately 120 degrees and a distance of around 19.4 feet (6 metres).
The sensor ball light can also be detached from its base via magnets, transforming it into a portable flashlight as needed. The total luminous flux is about 100 lumens, providing adequate brightness for its intended purpose. The device operates on three AAA batteries, which are not included, and has different operational modes:
- OFF
- AUTO (activates with a double blink)
- ON (activates after 10 seconds of AUTO)
In AUTO mode, it can provide lighting for approximately 2.6 months with an average of 10 activations per day. When continuously on, it lasts for about 10 hours.
