The flap will otherwise open normally.
This module is easy to install inside the tunnel of your existing cat flap using adhesive strips, requiring no pairing and ensuring compatibility with microchip cat flaps from most common brands. However, it does not work with rare roof-style flap designs.
The accompanying app sends push notifications with images every time your cat enters or exits, and the prey-blocking function can be activated or deactivated with a simple toggle in the app. Software updates for the app are included.
Power Requirements: The ZeroMOUSE requires a permanent power source with a USB mains adapter (not included) that has at least 5V / 2A output and a USB-C cable without fabric braiding. It also necessitates a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection, as 5 GHz is not supported. Note that screws are not included.
