Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer is a natural solution designed to control leatherjackets by utilising millions of nematodes (Steinernema feltiae). To apply, simply mix the powder with water and use a watering can or applicator for distribution on the affected areas of your lawn. This product is safe for children, pets, and wildlife, allowing immediate use of the lawn after application. Application is most effective in autumn (September, October, November) when leatherjackets are newly hatched and their susceptibility to nematodes is high, with a required soil temperature of 10°C. If treatment is necessary at other times of the year, such as spring or summer, it should be administered at double strength to combat the mature leatherjackets, which are more resistant to the nematodes. As a perishable product, Nemasys Leatherjacket Killer has a shelf life of up to two weeks in the refrigerator; hence, it is advisable to order when ready to apply.
