Arcadia Pure Sun Midi Lighting Kit for Small to Medium Parrots

The Arcadia Pure Sun Midi Lighting Kit is specifically designed for small to medium-sized birds. This complete lighting system offers full-spectrum UV light, allowing your avian companion to produce its own vitamin D3. Adequate vitamin D3 levels are crucial for maintaining good health, ensuring proper calcium metabolism, supporting normal growth, strong bones, and egg production. Birds possess special retinas that enable them to see colours in the UV spectrum, assisting them in recognising friends, locating food, and identifying different species. Without UVA, birds lose the full range of colours they encounter in nature, leading to colour blindness. Providing UVA lighting is essential for your bird’s psychological wellness and can help reduce destructive behaviours such as feather-picking while promoting singing in songbirds. This high-quality, flicker-free lamp is guaranteed to maintain UV potency for 12 months, assuming usage of up to 12 hours per day. After a year, it is recommended to replace the bulb. The kit includes a 14W ProT5 flicker-free fitting with a removable reflector, a mounting kit, a UK-manufactured acrylic support arm, and the Pure Sun Midi 14W Arcadia Bird Lamp. Installation is straightforward; simply mount the kit as instructed, secure it to the cage, and ensure the perch height is appropriate. Your bird will enjoy high-quality full-spectrum UVB energy, along with its associated health benefits. EU adapter not included.
