AquaSPAkle Bromine Infused Granules offer an effective solution for sanitising spa water, acting as an alternative to chlorine for maintaining water cleanliness and controlling algae growth. These granules are designed to be relatively pH neutral, allowing for effective use without drastically affecting water chemistry.
Usage Instructions
- Maintain pH levels within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6.
- Ensure bromine residuals are between 3-5mg/L (ppm) for optimal sanitation.
- Freshly filled spas should use an initial shock dose of 50mg/L (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/L (ppm) for 2 hours.
- Apply directly to the spa water while the pump is running for proper distribution.
- After shock treatment, allow 30 minutes before resuming bathing.
Daily Dose Rates
- For 1000 litres (220 gallons):
- To increase bromine by 1ppm: Add 3g.
- To increase by 3ppm: Add 8g.
- To increase by 6ppm: Add 16g.
- For 1500 litres (330 gallons):
- To increase bromine by 1ppm: Add 4g.
