Product Details
Product Details
The Vocray Sun Shade Cloth measures 2.5 x 2.5 metres and is constructed from high-density polyethylene (100% HDPE), ensuring a robust solution for outdoor shading needs. This shade cloth offers 90% UV protection, making it ideal for pergolas, patios, and pool areas. However, it is important to note that it is designed as a shade cloth and not a shade sail, so specific installation precautions should be followed.
Privacy and Comfort
When used as a vertical privacy screen, the tightly woven mesh prohibits up to 90% visibility into your outdoor space while allowing one-way visibility from the inside. This means you can relax without concern about prying eyes from neighbours while still enjoying your surroundings.
Durability and Maintenance
The fabric is designed to be durable and breathable, reducing the risk of tearing and fading even with extensive outdoor use. The breathable nature of the material facilitates hot air escape, keeping your area comfortable during warm weather. Additionally, the shade cloth allows rainwater to pass through to prevent pooling, although it is water-resistant rather than waterproof.
Installation Guidelines
The shade cloth features double-reinforced edges along with brass grommets spaced every 50 cm, allowing for straightforward installation using zip ties, ropes, or bungee cords. It does not require special tools or professional assistance for setup. It is important to secure it appropriately to avoid stressing the grommets, which could lead to damage.
Care Instructions
To maintain your Vocray Sun Shade Cloth, simply wash it, allow it to air dry, and store it in a cool place when not in use. Be aware that due to natural expansion and contraction caused by temperature variations, the size may vary slightly over time.
