Product Details
The JOYO Avalalon R-19 Compressor Pedal offers full studio-style compression in a compact pedal format. It incorporates three critical controls found on professional rack compressors: RATIO adjusts the compression intensity, ATTACK determines how quickly the compression engages, and RELEASE controls how long the compression holds before releasing. This pedal is designed to smooth out dynamics without altering the core tone of the instrument.
Independent Input & Output Control: Unlike typical compressor pedals that feature a single volume knob, the Avalalon R-19 provides separate controls for input and output. The INPUT knob acts as a threshold control by adjusting the signal hitting the compression circuit, while the OUTPUT sets the final level, enabling precise management of your sound.
Gain Reduction Indicator: Equipped with a 12-LED gain reduction meter, the Avalalon provides visual feedback on the amount of compression applied, ranging from -1dB to -30dB. This feature allows users to monitor their settings accurately and achieve consistent results.
Transparent Tone with True Bypass: Designed with a classic analog compressor circuit, the Avalalon R-19 delivers smooth, transparent compression without colouring your tone. The true bypass feature preserves your guitar’s natural voice when the pedal is not engaged. It is effective for electric and acoustic guitars, ensuring clarity in your effects chain.
Build Quality: The Avalalon R-19 is part of the R Series, crafted with upgraded precision components within a durable metal housing. It operates on a 9V DC adapter (not included) with a required current of over 120mA and does not have a battery compartment. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use a regulated, isolated 9V power supply.
