Seachem Prime Freshwater & Saltwater Conditioner 500 mL

Seachem Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It efficiently removes chlorine and chloramine, allowing the biological filtration to manage ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate while keeping them detoxified for up to 48 hours. This product not only detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and heavy metals found in typical tap water concentrations but also contributes to a suitable environment for various fish species, including bettas and tetras. For optimal conditions, it is recommended to apply Seachem Prime to new water before introducing it into the tank. In cases of high chloramine concentrations, a double dose is safe for use. When treating smaller volumes, utilise 2 drops per gallon of water. In emergency situations, a 5x dose can be utilised for both ammonia and nitrite spikes, though it is advised to use a half dose if the water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low.
