These gaskets provide a reliable seal, with a compressibility designed to fill any pits or gaps in flange surfaces up to 1/16 inch. They are manufactured in the USA, which ensures quality control throughout the production process.
The suggested torque for each gasket is generally much lower than factory specifications, which are printed on the back of the packaging. Remflex recommends that no gasket should be reused to maintain a dependable seal; hence they do not market their products as reusable. It is also important to note that using sealants is not advised, as they burn out quickly and can cause exhaust leaks.
