Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic Ointment for Dogs, Cats and Horses – 3.5 g

This sterile ophthalmic ointment contains two antibiotics (neomycin and polymyxin B) and a corticosteroid (dexamethasone) to relieve inflammation and treat susceptible bacterial infections of the eyes in dogs, cats, and horses. It is suitable for managing post-surgical inflammation and preventing infections after eye injuries. Caution is advised when using this ointment in cats, as serious allergic reactions have been reported in some cases. This product may be prescribed for other animal species at the veterinarian’s discretion. Note that while the ointment does not have an FDA-approved indication for all animal uses, it is widely accepted for veterinary prescription.
