Materials and Construction
The 4mm thick flexplate is crafted from cold-rolled premium steel, which is 0.035″ thicker than stock, ensuring long-lasting strength. The ring gears are double-welded using a robotic cold-welding process to prevent separation during high-RPM operations.
Fitment
This adapter kit is suitable for the following engines:
- 1997-2007 GM Gen III LS1/LS6 V8 engines (up to 2009 for LS2)
- 4.8/5.3/6.0 truck engines including L33, L59, LM4, LM7, LQ4, LQ9, and LR4
It is designed to adapt these engines to TH350, 700R-4, 200-4R, 4L60, and Powerglide transmissions that originally came with non-LS engines, such as SBC or BBC V8s.
Caution
Please note, this kit may not work with some 1999-2000 LQ4 6.0 LS engines, specifically those that were originally equipped with a 4L80E automatic transmission, as they require a flat flexplate due to the “tall” crank flange.
