The MSD 6ALN 6430 is specifically engineered for NASCAR racing. It features a capacitive discharge ignition system approved by NASCAR, including the essential 6-pin weathertight connector, adhering to the wiring rule 20-6.1. This connector ensures a secure connection while preventing dirt and moisture infiltration, with individual seals for each wire. The ignition’s wiring complies with MIL-86A standards, and integrated tinned conductors provide enhanced crimp integrity. Encased within its robust cast aluminium housing, the multiple CD circuits are protected by clear silicone elastomer to withstand intense vibrations. Additionally, a clear base plate is included for straightforward tech inspections. The 6ALN incorporates a built-in rev control which allows for individual RPM modules to be replaced according to specific track requirements. Replacement modules are available in both even (PN 8743 to 8751) and odd increments (PN 87431 to 87491), with increments increasing by tens.
