Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader

The Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader is an essential tool for applying a variety of lawn products such as fertilizers, grass seeds, granular weed control, salt, and ice melt. This reliable spreader holds a substantial capacity of up to 5,000 sq. ft. of Scotts product, ensuring it is suitable for treating smaller areas effectively. It is pre-calibrated for ready use, allowing homeowners to conveniently apply lawn care solutions without prior setup. When using the EdgeGuard feature, the spreader effectively blocks the right side of the distribution pattern, helping to keep products off driveways, sidewalks, and landscaping, thus ensuring precise application. The design includes a curved hopper paired with a dual-bladed agitator, which promotes smooth product flow and guarantees consistent coverage. The spreader is structured for simplicity; users can adjust the rate control dial according to the instructions provided on the back of each Scotts product, pour the desired product into the hopper, and begin spreading. Additionally, this compact device features a fold-down handle for convenient storage when not in use. This broadcast spreader provides uniform coverage of granular products, significantly reducing the risk of uneven lawn care application. DIY homeowners can also make use of this spreader as an ice melt tool during winter to keep walkways and driveways clear and safe.
