This centrifugal clutch features a 3/4″ bore and a 10-tooth sprocket designed specifically for #40, #41, and #420 chains. It is tailored for use in mini bikes and go-karts such as the Baja Mini Bike MB165 and MB200, making it suitable for Honda cloned engines with a power range of 2 to 6.5 HP including GC160, GC190, GX120, GX140, GX160, and GX200. Please note: it is only compatible with bores measuring 0.75″ (19.05mm) and not with Tecumseh engines that have a bore of 0.787″ (20mm).
Engagement speed is rated at 2300±300 RPM. The included #420 chain has a fixed pitch of 12.7mm (0.5 inches) and features 96 links, measuring 48 inches in total. This clutch package comes complete with a connecting link to ensure a proper fit.
Installation Suggestions
Before installation, apply lubricant above the circlip and allow it to seep in. Rotate the clutch to ensure it turns freely. During initial usage, perform a break-in by running the clutch 3-5 times without load, followed by cooling down intervals. Post break-in, the clutch will be ready for normal operational use.
