Product Details
The Everydrop by Whirlpool Ice & Water Refrigerator Filter 1 (EDR1RXD1) is a highly effective water filtration system designed to provide clean and safe water for your home. This filter has been certified to reduce 70 potentially harmful contaminants, including microplastics, heavy metals, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Everydrop filters set themselves apart by rigorously meeting three NSF standards (42, 53, and 401) for contaminant reduction, whereas many generic brands may only meet one standard.
Featuring advanced Triple Filtration Technology, this filter utilises a renewable coconut shell-based activated carbon core. It operates through a three-stage process: large-particle filtration, medium-size micro-filtration, and targeted microscopic absorption. This ensures that 99% of microplastics, including particles as small as 60 times smaller than a grain of sand, are effectively filtered out.
The filter is designed specifically for Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, and JennAir refrigerators, ensuring a seamless and precise fit. Using non-genuine filters could potentially damage your refrigerator. Installation is straightforward — simply push the filter into place, and replacement is just as easy: remove the old filter and install the new one using the same steps.
For optimal performance, it’s recommended to replace your Everydrop water filter every six months or after producing 200 gallons of water. Always choose the package that corresponds with the number/letter and colour of your filter for compatibility.
