Our Review

The Philips Avent Natural Newborn Gift Set stands out as an exceptional choice for parents navigating the early stages of feeding. This set uniquely combines the concept of breast and bottle feeding through its innovative nipple design, allowing babies to control the pace of milk flow just as they would during breastfeeding. The inclusion of both slow and medium flow nipples provides flexibility to adapt to a baby's changing needs, making it ideal for those transitioning between breast and bottle.

Designed with comfort in mind, the wide, breast-shaped nipple promotes a natural latching experience, while the anti-colic valve addresses common infant discomforts. The BPA-free bottles are not only safe but also easy to clean with the included bottle brush, ensuring a hassle-free feeding routine for busy parents.

Product Details

The Philips Avent Natural Response Newborn Gift Set is specifically designed for both first-time and experienced parents to facilitate a smooth transition between breast and bottle feeding. The set aims to establish an everyday feeding routine by allowing the baby to control the pace of milk flow, similar to breastfeeding. This is accomplished through a unique nipple opening that releases milk only when the baby actively drinks. When the baby pauses to swallow and breathe, no milk flows, helping to prevent spills and waste. Features include:
  • Wide, soft and flexible breast-shaped nipple mimics the shape and feel of a breast for a comfortable latch.
  • Integrated anti-colic valve reduces colic and discomfort by keeping air away from the baby’s tummy during feeding.
  • The set comprises 3 x 4oz (125ml) bottles with Slow Flow 2 nipples and 3 x 9oz (260ml) bottles with Medium Flow 3 nipples, allowing parents to adapt to their baby’s feeding cues.
Additionally, the set includes a Soothie 0-3 months pacifier made from hospital-grade silicone and widely used by medical professionals to soothe newborns. All bottles are made from BPA-free polypropylene, ensuring safety and compatibility with daily use. This gift set serves as a reassuring gift choice for a baby shower, registry or the initial weeks at home.
