The NDS 420C Pop-Up Drainage Emitter is designed to effectively manage stormwater runoff from grates, catch basins, and channel drains, directing it to a discharge point downstream. It connects easily to 3-inch and 4-inch sewer and drain fittings, as well as to other pipe types using appropriate adapters. The emitter releases collected water with a capacity of up to 40 GPM and features a polyethylene cover that pops up as pressure builds and closes when the flow diminishes. The outside flange prevents grass growth over the cover, and when properly installed, it can support pedestrian traffic, including lawn tractors.
