For hand washing, fill a pot or tub with water at 140°F, ensuring it covers the fabric fully. Add one teaspoon of Retayne for each yard of fabric and soak for 20 minutes while stirring regularly. Rinse the fabric in cold water and hang it to dry.For washing machines, use the same preparation, adjusting the water level as needed, while setting the cycle for 20 minutes. Note that Retayne is not compatible with energy-efficient top and front loader machines.
