Foneso 5 m Black Exhaust Heat Protection Wrap with Cable Ties

The Foneso Exhaust Heat Protection Wrap is designed to shield motorcycle and car exhaust pipes from excessive heat, making it ideal for use on manifold or gas pipes. Measuring 5 meters in length and constructed from black fiberglass, this wrap can endure high temperatures between 500 and 600°C without easy damage. It has a strong thermal insulation effect, owing to its flame retardant properties, efficiently blocking heat and reducing noise.
Installation Tips: It is advisable to wear long sleeves, masks, and gloves during handling to prevent skin irritation from glass fibres. Soak the tape in water for 10-20 minutes before wrapping it around the pipe, securing it tightly with the included stainless steel cable ties. As a precaution, be aware that exposure to temperatures above 200°C may cause the wrap to fade to white, which is normal and does not compromise its effectiveness.
