About Frowse
Better products. Clearer choices.
Frowse is an independent product-discovery platform designed to make large online product catalogues easier to explore and understand.
Online shopping gives us an extraordinary choice, but navigating thousands of products, specifications and features can make finding the right one surprisingly difficult. Frowse helps narrow the choice, making it easier to discover products, understand the differences and decide what best fits your needs before visiting Amazon to buy.
How Frowse works
Frowse discovers products across the Amazon marketplaces we cover, including through Amazon Best Sellers and other relevant product-discovery sources.
We don’t aim to catalogue everything Amazon sells. Instead, Frowse organises and analyses product information to make large catalogues easier to explore.
Products can be discovered by category and brand, as well as through Frowse’s different discovery routes. Our aim is to help shoppers move from an enormous range of possibilities to a more manageable selection of products to consider.
Qualifying products can also be assessed using our Frowse Rating, alongside Frowse Verdicts, pros and cons, key specifications and guidance about who or what a product may be best suited to.
The Frowse Rating is our own assessment. It is not an Amazon customer rating or an Amazon recommendation.
More than product listings
Frowse is designed to help with the decisions behind a purchase, not simply to provide another list of products.
Frowse Insights provides original buying intelligence about products, features and specifications — explaining what matters, what different specifications mean and what shoppers may want to consider before choosing.
Ask Frowse provides another way to explore products, helping shoppers turn what they’re looking for into more useful product discovery.
Together with category, brand and product discovery, these tools are designed to make very large shopping catalogues easier to navigate and understand.
Analysis, editorial and AI
Frowse combines structured product data, automated analysis and AI-assisted editorial tools to turn large amounts of product information into useful product discovery, analysis and buying guidance.
We don’t claim to have physically tested products unless we explicitly say so. Instead, Frowse helps make sense of the product information and evidence available to us, presenting it in a clearer and more useful way.
You can learn more in our Editorial & AI Policy.
Independent and transparent
Frowse is independently owned and operated. It is not Amazon and is not endorsed by Amazon.
Frowse participates in the Amazon Associates Programme and may receive a commission when you follow eligible links and make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate commission does not determine a product’s Frowse Rating or whether we consider one product better than another. You can find more information in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Product information and purchasing conditions can change over time. For current purchasing information, always check the product directly on the relevant Amazon marketplace.
Frowse around the world
Frowse currently provides product discovery for Amazon marketplaces in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland and Singapore.
Each marketplace has its own product catalogue and shopping environment. Frowse uses a consistent product-discovery approach while recognising those marketplace differences rather than treating Amazon as one identical global catalogue.
About the founder
Frowse was founded by Tony Day and is developed in Wales, United Kingdom.
Frowse is built around a simple idea: enormous product catalogues should be easier to explore, understand and narrow down.
Amazon gives shoppers an extraordinary choice of products. Frowse has a different job: helping you decide which one to choose.
As an Amazon Associate, Frowse may earn from qualifying purchases.
