It utilises high-end components including the ESS9038Q2M DAC, SA9312 DSP, OPA1678 LPF, and SGM8262 amplifier op-amps, enabling it to support high-resolution audio decoding up to PCM 32bit/384kHz and DSD256 playback.
This device features multiple audio inputs and outputs: USB, optical, stereo RCA, and dual headphone jacks (6.35mm and 3.5mm). With its robust power of 560mW/470mW@32Ω per channel, the K5 can effectively drive headphones ranging from 16Ω to 600Ω, offering both high and low gain modes to suit different headphone impedances.
The K5 also includes Tone Control, allowing users to adjust treble and bass settings, and a Pure mode that bypasses tone controls for an unaltered audio signal.
