This gauge accurately measures three angles: fall from +5 to -5 degrees, trailing deflection from +11 to -3 degrees, and spread from 0 to 14 degrees, specifically for the front wheels of cars and light commercial vehicles.

Assembly: The magnetic base is designed to adhere to a steel rim, brake disc, or a clean, bare hub surface. It does not stick to alloy rims or wheels; an adapter plate is necessary for those, but it is not included in this package.
Operation: The fall is read using a factory-set level, eliminating the need for zeroing before measuring. To determine trailing and spread, the wheel must be driven 20 degrees outwards, then the adjustable level should be zeroed before driving 20 degrees inwards. Multiply the trailing deflection by 1.46 for the trailing angle calculation. Ensure the vehicle is on flat ground for accurate readings, as sloped surfaces can affect results.
