Vitcas BFC Black Fire Cement 310 ml – Heat Resistant Up to 1250°C

Vitcas BFC Black Fire Cement is a smooth paste designed to harden upon contact with air, making it effective for sealing gaps in fireplaces, ovens, and boilers. It adheres well to firebricks, blockwork, mortar, clay ware, and most metals, offering excellent performance in limited repair applications. Suitable for cracks less than 5mm and useful in sealing gaskets to prevent smoke emissions, the cement is easy to apply with a caulking gun after preparing the surface by cleaning away dirt, dust, rust, and grease. To use, cut the cartridge tip and nozzle, moisten the surface, and apply the cement. It cures at room temperature, with faster hardening achieved by introducing heat, typically taking around four hours. Fine cracks that may occur post-curing can be filled with the same material to maintain an airtight seal. This product is ideal for sealing visible metal joints, stove installations, and restoring areas in fireplaces and stoves.
