Method of Application
Ensure the surfaces are cohesive, dry, clean, and protected against corrosion. Remove dust, oil, grease, rust, old putty, and any materials that may affect adhesion, allowing at least 10 minutes to dry at +23°C after degreasing. If needed, place a joint bottom of a suitable cross-section to limit the depth of the sealant according to DTU 39 specifications. Apply the sealant in a continuous bead using a Sika manual, pneumatic, or electric pistol, avoiding air inclusions. Smooth the surface with a spatula before a skin forms, and remove excess product with a cloth soaked in white spirit or acetone. Full strength is reached after complete polymerization.- ASIN:
