This Energy Monitoring Plug is designed to help you track the consumption and cost of your electrical appliances. The device features multiple monitoring parameters, including power (W), energy (kWh), volts, amps, hertz, power factor, cost, minimum and maximum power, and cumulative usage days and time. You can easily switch between 8 different display modes to view various parameters while your appliance is in use.
The energy monitor comes equipped with overload protection, set at a default of 2900W. If your appliance exceeds this limit, the LCD will display “OVERLOAD” and emit a beep sound to alert you. The device will disable all its buttons until the overload issue is resolved by raising the setting value or unplugging the appliance.
A data memory function retains power consumption information, even if the plug is unplugged or the appliance is removed. All setting data and cumulative consumption data (electricity quantity, cost, unit price) are preserved. When you reconnect, you can easily access the last stored data (note: this does not include current, voltage, or power factor data). The monitor also saves data during sudden power failures.
You can set a KWh consumption limit, and when it is reached, the plug will emit a beep and the “KWh” alarm will flash as a warning. To silence the alarm, simply set a higher consumption limit or reset it (please note that resetting will erase all previous settings).
The energy monitor features an adjustable backlight with five different time options: 10 minutes (default), 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, or permanently on. To change the settings, press and hold the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons simultaneously and select your desired duration. The backlight display has a white background with black digits, allowing for clear visibility night and day.
