This 12 piece wire brush set transforms any standard drill into a powerful cleaning tool, perfect for removing rust, flaking paint, and entrenched grime more efficiently than manual methods.
The set comprises:
- Wheel Brushes: 38mm, 50mm, 65mm, 75mm
- Cup Brushes: 50mm, 65mm, 65mm, 75mm
- End Brushes: 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 25mm
The brushes are suitable for diverse applications, whether dealing with flat panels, curved surfaces, or confined spaces. The wheel brushes excel at covering large areas, while the cup brushes cater to uneven surfaces, and the small end brushes fit into holes and threads where larger brushes cannot.
These brushes can be utilized on a variety of materials including steel, iron, stainless steel, stone, concrete, brickwork, and masonry. They effectively remove rust, scale, weld slag, and flaking paint, making them ideal for preparation work before painting, welding, or coating. They are versatile enough to clean copper pipes and fittings before soldering, as well as grilling equipment, automotive parts, machinery, and garden tools.
Constructed from brass coated steel, these brushes are designed for cleaning and surface preparation rather than heavy stock removal. The brass coating minimizes sparking and provides corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity even in damp environments. Each brush measures a standard 1/4 inch round shank, easily fitting into any traditional three-jaw chuck. They are compatible with both cordless and corded drills, as well as drill presses and pillar drills. Please note that the drill is not included.
Maximum speed for use is 4500 RPM; exceeding this limit can damage the brushes. It is also important to prioritize safety by wearing eye protection when the wire brushes are in operation.
