It supports prominent tube types including EL34, KT88, 6L6, 6V6, 5881, 6550, KT66, KT100, KT120, and 7027, making it a versatile choice for different amplifier setups.
How to Use:
1. Turn off your amplifier.
2. Remove the tube.
3. Insert the probe.
4. Connect the black banana plug to the COM jack of your multimeter.
5. Connect the red banana plug to the mA jack of your multimeter.
6. Insert the tube into the probe’s socket.
7. Set your multimeter to the mA range (most common is 200mA).
8. Turn on your amplifier.
9. Allow the tube to warm up.
10. Read the current directly in mA.
11. Reverse the steps to finish your testing.
