Product Overview
The 12 Pack Mixed Live Air Plants Bulk Pack features a selection of hardy perennial tillandsia succulents, well-suited for both indoor and outdoor gardening in Canada. These easy-care, no-soil plants are designed for effortless decorative use, absorbing moisture and nutrients through their leaf surfaces. They serve as excellent substitutes for traditional succulents, ideal for a variety of applications including home decor, vertical gardens, and event decorations.
Planting & Care Instructions
Soil & Planting: Tillandsia air plants do not require soil and can grow in diverse decorative settings such as terrariums, glass jars, and on driftwood. This flexibility makes them perfect for creative displays and vertical garden designs.
Watering Routine: Weekly maintenance involves soaking the air plants in clean water for 20 minutes before allowing them to dry in a well-ventilated area. Avoid excess water to prevent leaf rot and ensure healthy plant growth.
Light Requirements: These plants prefer bright, indirect light and should be kept in conditions that avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf damage.
Blooming Characteristics
Perennial and capable of repeat blooming, the air plants typically produce vibrant red and purple flowers 2-3 times annually. It is normal for shipped plants to arrive in a green state, as blooming cycles can vary based on seasonal growth patterns.
Nutrient Maintenance
With an independent nutrient absorption system, these air plants thrive with minimal care. For improved growth and increased blooms, you may choose to apply diluted bromeliad or air plant fertiliser occasionally.
Applications
This bulk 12-piece set is perfect for DIY terrarium projects, home decor, landscaping, wedding decorations, and as thoughtful party favours. The combination of affordability and high ornamental value makes these air plants a desirable choice for any gardening enthusiast.
