The Delta RP46074 Shower Cartridge is designed for replacing shower valve cartridges in Delta 13/14 Series faucets. It fits various Delta rough-in models, including R10000, R1100, R1800, and R2200. The cartridge’s pressure-balanced feature helps maintain consistent water temperature, providing additional safety during use. Built from durable brass and plastic materials, it offers excellent leakage resistance after rigorous testing. Installation involves adjusting the meshing position of the teeth to achieve the preferred temperature, with clear directions on increasing or decreasing the heat by rotating clockwise or counterclockwise. Each tooth adjustment can vary the temperature by 4° to 16°F based on water inlet conditions. Note that this cartridge is not suitable for the 1300/1400 series tub/showers.
