The WADEO Rain Barrel Spigot Kit includes a heavy-duty 3.2 oz solid brass bulkhead fitting designed to connect a 1/2″ female to a 3/4″ male water tank. This spigot kit features a no kink, quarter turn solid brass ball valve which connects easily with standard garden hoses.
Installation is straightforward with two methods available: front mounting and back mounting using the brass partition fittings. It is essential to note that this product is designed for irrigation purposes with rain barrels and is not compliant with lead-free standards, meaning it should not be used for potable water.
To install, a 25mm diameter hole is required, accommodating wall thickness up to 0.78 inches. The spigot features a large 10mm flow opening that provides a flow rate of approximately 15 seconds per gallon, or 4 gallons per minute, tested with a water height of 2 feet. The installation process requires tools such as an electric drill, a 1 inch hole saw, and a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench.
Included are two washers (6.8mm) situated between the inner and outer rings to assist in preventing any potential leaks.
