Turn off the engine, remove the air filter, and cover the carburettor opening and distributor. Spray the dry engine generously with the shampoo, and rinse any overspray from the exterior body surface immediately to prevent damaging the paint. Allow the engine shampoo to penetrate for 10-15 minutes, using a brush on heavy grease deposits if necessary. Finally, hose off thoroughly with water, remove covers from the carburettor and distributor, replace the air filter, and restart the engine, letting it idle for 15 minutes to ensure complete drying.
