Product Details

The Celestron Omni 2X Barlow Lens is an essential accessory for astronomers that allows you to instantly double the magnification of your eyepieces. By inserting this lens between your eyepiece and telescope, you can expand your viewing options from two standard eyepieces to four. For instance, using a 10 mm eyepiece paired with the Barlow will give you the power equivalent to a 5 mm eyepiece, while a 25 mm eyepiece will provide the equivalent of a 12.5 mm. This innovative lens maintains eye relief, ensuring comfort during use without compromising your viewing experience. The Barlow lens features high-quality two-element optics that are fully multi-coated and include blackened edges to reduce internal reflections. Its 1.25” barrel is compatible with standard focusers and diagonals, securely holding your eyepiece in place with a metal thumbscrew for firm locking.
