Product Details

The SureFire EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus earplugs protect your hearing without sacrificing your ability to hear essential sounds or conversations. Featuring a triple-flanged design tailored for larger ear canals, these earplugs achieve a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB. While harmful noises above 85dB are effectively reduced thanks to a proprietary noise-reducing filter, everyday sounds can still be heard at safe levels. The attached filter caps can be added for further noise blocking when lower-level sounds are not a concern, such as during flights.

Available in clear, black, or orange, these earplugs are made from a soft, durable, hypoallergenic polymer, ensuring comfort for extended wear and a lifespan of up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care. Their patented EarLock retention rings securely lock the earpieces in place, while the low-profile design accommodates the use of helmets or masks.

Additionally, these comfortable earplugs can serve as earpieces for compatible radio communication systems when the noise-reducing filter is removed; however, please note that they will no longer provide hearing protection in this situation.
