The PYREX Griffin Borosilicate Glass Beaker is constructed from Type 1, Class A low expansion borosilicate glass, establishing it as a standard choice in chemistry labs worldwide. This graduated beaker with spout features uniform wall thickness and a flat base, which is suitable for heating on a hot plate, flame, oven, microwave, or heating mantles. It offers optimum thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength, allowing it to be heated to 230°C and cooled down to -230°C.
This robust glass beaker is chemically resistant to most acids, alkalis, and solvents. Its rim profile is designed to prevent cracking or chipping, while the well-formed spout minimises drips and spills. Ideal for both laboratory and home use, the PYREX beaker is available in a range of sizes from 50mL to 3L, with the 250mL to 3000mL sizes featuring a double graduated metric scale.
