Product Details
This 8-piece set of natural wood perches includes a variety of designs tailored for small birds. The materials consist of authentic apple wood for the round platforms and a selection of natural hardwoods, such as elm and chestnut, for the straight and forked branches. These dense, untreated woods offer diverse textures that are safe for birds to chew, climb, and exercise.
Dimensions
The set includes:
- 2 round platforms approximately 2.8″-3.1″ in diameter
- 3 straight perches measuring 5.9″ in length and 0.6″-1.0″ in thickness
- 3 forked branches each 5.9″ long
Health Benefits
The irregular, bark-on surface of the perches mimics natural tree branches, encouraging muscle exercise and preventing foot strain. The various textures also allow birds to condition their beaks and nails while satisfying their natural instinct to chew.
Installation and Customisation
Each perch includes built-in metal wing nuts and standard round washers, enabling secure attachment to most wire bird cages without the need for additional tools. This allows for quick and easy reconfiguration of your bird’s habitat.
Habitat Enrichment
This set transforms a static cage into a dynamic, multi-level playground. With eight diverse pieces, you can easily customise a vertical habitat gym that provides high resting spots and low play zones, reducing boredom and anxiety in your birds.
