Product Details

The Door Silencer Strike Plate enhances the traditional design of door latch strike plates that have remained unchanged for decades. Crafted from flexible polyurethane, it absorbs the force of a closing door to quiet down the metal-on-metal noise typically associated with door latches. Upon contact, the bolt moves over a soft surface, eliminating harsh sounds, and is guided into place by innovative design elements that dampen the noise further. A unique Slam Backstop pad cushions the door against the jamb, preventing loud bangs and creating a luxurious door-closing experience. This product retains the door’s ability to latch and lock, and it fits existing door jambs without requiring any modifications. The strike plate measures 2-1/4 inches in width and is accompanied by colour-matched screws for a discreet installation. Enjoy a quieter home and a more peaceful environment.
