Product Details

E-Z Lok threaded inserts for metal provide an easy solution for repairing or reinforcing threaded holes in metal. They are suitable for use in materials such as aluminium, cast iron, and magnesium. Each insert is screw-machined out of solid 303 stainless steel, ensuring strength and superior pull-out resistance. To install, users will prepare the hole using standard drills and taps, before threading the E-Z Lok insert into place using a screwdriver, bolt and jam nut, or an optional E-Z Lok drive tool. The inserts are self-locking and are designed to prevent backing out or vibration loosening. Each insert features a pre-applied adhesive that activates during installation, bonding securely to virtually all metals and providing liquid and gas sealing capabilities of up to 6,000 psi when fully cured (after 72 hours).
