Installation Instructions
1. Locate the headlight relay under the hood, situated between the headlights. For the wiper door vacuum relay, find it under the rear right-hand fender well or the left side of the firewall.
2. Mark the placement of the hoses to facilitate re-connection. The original hoses were striped to match the colour-coded dots on the original relay. The replacement actuator is marked and colour-coded to simplify hose reinstallation.
3. Unbolt the old relay and replace it with the new actuator, ensuring to reconnect the hoses correctly. Additionally, an extra filter is included and can be cleaned with soap and water.
Compatibility Note
For 1968 models, one actuator is needed for each of the wiper door and headlights. For 1968-1972 models, one actuator is required for the wiper door and two for the headlights. Models from 1973-1982 need two actuators for the headlights.
