How to Use
To use your Haakaa Breast Pump:
- Sterilise the pump by boiling it in water for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the pump flange over your nipple, ensuring it is comfortably centred.
- Squeeze the base of the pump to create suction and start the flow of milk.
- Once milk begins to flow, you can leave the pump in place.
Additionally, it’s beneficial to encourage let-down by using a warm flannel and gently massaging the breast. You can also attach the pump to the opposite breast while breastfeeding to collect milk that would otherwise be lost.
